How to Sell and Accept Gift Certificates in Autosoft

The purpose of this document is to explain how to setup Autosoft to be able to sell and accept Gift Certificates 

Selling Gift Certificates

• Setup Gift Certificates as a part in the Stock Master File
• Sell the Gift Certificate to the customer as normal on a parts invoice

Accepting Gift Certificate as Payment

• Add a payment method specifically for Gift Certificate

       Go to General Ledger - Banking - Till Menu - Payment Methods

• Setup a Bank Account for Gift Certificates to handle Bank Undeposited Funds function

        Go to General Ledger - Banking - Bank Reconciliation - Bank Accounts
