If you are finding that your online banking system is rejecting your 'direct.txt' or 'direct.aba' file you may need to review the setup parameters.
Getting these details from your bank
The customer service department of your bank should be able to assist you with online banking enquiry. Tell them you are setting up a software program that creates an .aba file and you need to following information:
- UserId
- UserName
- BankCode
Getting these details from your old .aba file
The layout of .aba files will always be the same. You should open it in your system using the program 'Notepad'
Then review the layout of the file, the key parameters are circled.
