How to Do a Quick Quote in your Autosoft System

The purpose of this document is to learn how to do a quick quote in your Autosoft System and how it can benefit your business being able to process these. Please take note this may or may not be available in your Autosoft System depending on the version you are running.

 

  1. Do a quick quote
  • Go to Workshop – Invoice/Repair Order – Quick Quote

2. With the quick quote screen opened
  • Fill out the following fields – Advisor, Veh Rego

3. Once you can see the customers information listed you can now add your items.
  • Go to Item Code and F4 to search for the item you are wanting to quote
  • Enter in the Order Qty, Unit Price

4. Once you are happy you can
  • Click on Save Quote, or Print/Send

5. Once the quote has been accepted by the customer you can
  • Click on Turn Into Repair Order, the quote will then turn into an invoice repair order and it will go into your Job control Centre ready for you to perform the work needed on the job

6. This completes the process of doing a quick quote

    What version do you need - I don't have quick quotes?

    It still doesn't work!!!  After many, many times complaining that the job codes don't include the parts kits, it still doesn't work!  We've given up!

    Can Autosoft look into the way of developing a Security Settings to restrict Credit/Note Adjustments at the earliest? We do not want everyone doing the creditnote unless autorised by the Accounts Manager.

    By giving access to everyone it is easy to defraud the company. Please help and get this credit note adjustment, so it can be restricted on the Security Settings.

    I would like to do a quote as a normal workshop quote - quick quote only allows for a vehicle quote.
